1940's Girard Perregaux Sea-Hawk

Here is an unpolished wartime Girard Perregaux Sea-Hawk reference 199738 .
 
Originally developed as a utilitarian watches for marines, these watches were offered in same styles for civilian use as well , and after wartime they became more "dress" watches overtime.
 
The case has scratches and what I consider light wear for it's age , but it has never been polished , relumed or gotten the "dealer" treatment, only the movement was serviced 3 years ago.
