1957 Girard Perregaux "Cioccolatone" Gyromatic
$0.00Price
This 1957 Girard Perregaux Gyromatic is perhaps the first watch in the history to hype the "High Jewels" before other manufacturers started doing it with it's automatic movement featuring 39 jewels. It has a stunning incredibly hard to achieve gilt black dial that is still crisp today. The crystal has wonderful curves and is original with some grazing. The beveling around the bezel , the long sharp lug ends are still untouched and unpolished. Wears quite large at 30mm across (Mind you a Reverso Grande Taille is 26mm across.)
This is an incredibly hard to find model with this black dial and is a great investment for any Girard Perregaux or vintage watch collector. Great daily wearability due to it's size and stainless steel case.
