Lusserna "Bullseye"
This absolutely beautiful and immaculately preserved World War II era stainless steel Lusserna is a time capsule to what made 1940's watch designs great. the overall style of this piece was directly influenced from military watches of World War II.
The bull’s-eye dial features a rich black center with a distinct original white text, with almost almond patina showcasing original radium Arabic military style numerals, and packaged around with a black chapter ring completing the design.
The 33mm stainless steel case is in unpolished condition and comes with the original stainless-steel crown. The syringe style hands under UV light still have some luminescent properties for a short period of time.
The cognac heavily quilled ostrich strap completes the look and compliments the dial perfectly. For the price point of this watch everything about it is premium, and brings us back to a time when Macy’s was a high end shopping center for the premium customer. The brand was owned by Rh Macy, and the movement is a special made for the retailer Peseux 171A center seconds manual wind 17 jewel movement with an 18,000 a/h frequency. The movement was inspected, cleaned and regulated prior to sale and is keeping great time.
